Position Summary

Process Technician must provide support for the factory process engineering team and for manufacturing operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Has developed proficiency in a range of processes or procedures through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
  • Completes a variety of atypical assignments, as needed
  • Works within defined processes and procedures or methodologies and may help determine the appropriate approach for new assignments
  • Has a good understanding of how the team integrates with others to achieve department objectives determine the appropriate approach for new assignments
  • Likely to act as an informal resource for associates with less experience
  • Provides solutions to problems in situations that are atypical based on existing precedents or procedures
  • Impacts the quality and quantity of own work and its contribution to the team
  • Uses communication skills to effectively exchange information; uses tact and diplomacy when dealing with others

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • Bilingual English - Spanish - Desirable, not required.
  • Highschool or Technician degree preferable in Electrical, Chemical, Industrial or Mechanical subjects.
  • Incomplete bachelor’s degree in engineering; preferable in Electrical, Chemical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
  • Bilingual English - Spanish - Desirable, not required.
  • Results oriented, seeks creative solutions to business problems, high sense of discipline, data oriented, focused on milestones delivery, basic of statistics, know how to handle basic measurement instruments (such as vernier, calipers, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to follow instructions, both written and verbal
  • Detailed oriented while being conscientious of aggressive timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high pressure situations, to manage conflict and to prioritize workloads.
