Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Primary contact for all Health, Safety and Environmental matters onsite
- Must be certain that all operational systems and procedures adhere at all times to ISO 9000 and ISO/TS16949 standards and any other established company or industry quality standards. Maintain compliance with ISO14001, ISO18000, ISO50001, Environmental and Health & Safety accreditation.
- Maintain and review HSE Policies to ensure the company is compliant with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation and corporate policies
- Prepare and report on site KPIs related to HSE as required by external bodies as well as Gates HSE
- Support the Operations Managers and wider teams in the effective operation of the ISO standards

- Requires in-depth knowledge and experience
- Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own area and general knowledge of related areas
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate the company in the market
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Acts as a resource for other team members; may lead projects with limited risks and resource requirements
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
Requirements and Preferred Skills
- 5-7 years of experience
- Positive proactive attitude to all relevant health, safety and environmental matters. Ability to design and carry out HSE training for all staff and hourly paid employees
- NEBOSH
- Full member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and health (IOSH). Must be competent in auditing skills.
