Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Awareness of daily tasks, targets, and responsibilities.
  • Coiling of bulk hose and assemblies for transfer and packing.
  • Preparation of assemblies for shipping (painting and protection).
  • Packing of components for shipping (couplings and rubber).
  • Create advice notes for collections.
  • Communicate with haulage companies for transport collections
  • Communicate with the production/planning team in the transfer of goods around site.
  • Training in the use of the coiling machine
  • Operating forklift trucks in compliance with HSE (loading goods for shipment).
  • Ensuring all forklift checks are carried out and up to date.

Keys to Success

  • Successful completion of training period, in line with SOP instructions.

  • None

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • Good organisation of own work and good problem solving skills
  • Experience working in logistics environment. 
  • A good sense of urgency and timekeeping
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must have good communication skills, with the ability to carry out written/verbal instruction, and keep accurate records.
