Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The main purpose of this role is the inspection, service and repair of all electrical & where appropriate basic mechanical systems of the plant and equipment within the facility and to ensure that this is carried out in a safe and competent manner and in compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

Keys to Success
- Read & understand technical drawings, technical documentation
- Highly proficient in PLC control systems and electrical drive systems
Supervisory Responsibilities
- None
Requirements and Preferred Skills
- A recognised apprenticeship in an appropriate skill
- Significant (min 4 years) post apprenticeship, electrical maintenance experience gained within a manufacturing environment, multi skilled electrical bias experience would be advantageous
- C&G, ONC, OND, NVQ qualified in a relevant subject(s)
- PLC controlled equipment fault finding and Repair (Siemens preferred)
- IEE 18th Edition Regulations, BS 2391 inspection and testing or equivalent
