Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a Systems Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting and maintaining manufacturing technology systems. This position is key to ensuring reliable operation of our shop floor systems and contributing to the successful deployment of SAP S/4HANA. Working with cutting-edge IT and OT systems, you’ll provide hands-on support for applications such as MES, QMS, CMMS, and SCADA, while helping drive innovation, efficiency, and system integration across our manufacturing operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain a range of Manufacturing IT and OT hardware and software applications.
  • Ensure seamless operation of key systems, including MES, QMS, CMMS, and SCADA.
  • Assist with technology stacks including Wonderware / Aveva Intouch / Historian, Microsoft, and SAP Manufacturing (PM, QM).
  • Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure compliance with service delivery and change management procedures.
  • Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for shop floor systems to maintain operational uptime.
  • Contribute to the ongoing SAP S/4HANA implementation and related IT/OT integration projects.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

    • 0-1 year(s) of experience in IT/OT support within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies and SQL databases is required.
    • Familiarity with SAP Manufacturing, Wonderware / Aveva systems, or similar industrial software platforms.
    • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and operations.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Flexible and adaptable, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
