Position Summary

The Associate Finance Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial and operational performance of the company. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including senior global functional leaders, to provide insights, analysis, and recommendations that facilitate strategic decision-making and ensure financial goals are met. This dynamic role will involve analyzing financial data, developing insights to drive strategic initiatives, and managing various projects to improve efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate must possess a deep understanding of industrial manufacturing operations, be proficient in Excel, Outlook, Teams, & Oracle EBS. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support monthly and quarterly close processes by preparing journal entries and reconciliations for US Operations cost centers
  • Support senior analysts with ad-hoc analysis and special projects as needed
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and perform variance analysis
  • Prepare documents & templates for upcoming close, forecast, & budget cycles
  • Process annual property taxes and submit for approval
  • Process weekly freight invoices for payment
  • Process weekly utilities invoices
  • Document procedures & development training materials for team
  • Assist with annual budget activities for utilities, freight, & SG&A across DCs
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations using Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Power Point, Power BI) for stakeholders.
  • Provide support for routine audit requests to ensure compliance
  • Perform monthly balance reconciliations & develop necessary support documents
  • Review & approve affiliate price holds in Oracle EBS system
  • Assist in the development and automation of accounting applications to improve productivity
  • Assist in the onboarding and transition planning for new hires and backfills

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools & English.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably within the industrial manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrated professional integrity and ethical qualities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 
  • Strong team player; proactively able to step in to support other team members as needed and share knowledge to allow cross-training of all functions.
  • Self- starter who takes action beyond specific job responsibilities and assignments, with a strong desire for continuous learning and does not shy away from being a change agent.
  • Ability to balance transactional responsibilities, such as running reports and data analysis, with high-exposure responsibilities, including interacting with executive leadership.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting, ensuring that insights and recommendations are based on reliable data and thorough analysis.
  • High-Level interpersonal skills; must be able to work across multiple levels and locations within the company, including establishing global partnerships.

  • Highly proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
