Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Human Resources function at Gates FP Plant
  • Provide support, feedback and coaching to the Plant and Human Resources
  • Monitor compliance with Gates values and the country's labor laws, as well as compliance with training and training in accordance with the Federal Labor Law.
  • Ensure that communication and the working environment within the Plant is adequate, in case of non-compliance, act in a timely manner and report the relevant information to the Plant Management.
  • Ensure compliance and proper administration of the Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Dismissal and Induction procedures.
  • Guarantee the protection of the information that the new staff submits to Human Resources.
  • Reporting vital information from the Human Resources department to the Corporate, Plant Management, keeping a control of corporate systems updated.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in human resources
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR or related area.
  • 70% of English (Able to communicate)
  • Diploma in Labor Law, Human Resources, Negotiation, Labor Relations and/or STPS Regulations, internal auditor in any of the ISO's. (Desirable)
  • Experience in: Recruitment of operatives and administrative staff, training, legal requirements in HR matters (Federal Labor Law, applicable STPS, IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT regulations), contracts, terminations, labor relations with Unions, experience in union negotiations, the inherent.
