Position Summary

The purpose of Medical Service Doctor position is promoting the good health and physical integrity of the organization's workers, with a focus on accident prevention and under an atmosphere of cordiality and respect; contribute to the reduction of absenteeism through Preventive Medicine campaigns, attention to illnesses and incidents.

Always promote the culture of Safety, Health, and Environment, as well as promote awareness of the workers of the organization. Contribute to the implementation of the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 system in the company.

Ensure that the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 system in the manufacturing and administrative processes are documented so that the systems are implemented effectively and consistently and to guarantee the Health and Safety of the employees, as well as to avoid contamination to the Environment and to maintain a safe and risk-free work environment).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•    Promote awareness within the organization regarding the company’s safety policy and objectives.
•    Participate in the monitoring of internal and external audit processes and government inspections.
•    Monitor safety, health, and environmental metrics.
•    Participate in the creation, implementation, and improvement of departmental documents, procedures, and other materials.
•    Participate in and monitor health, safety, and environmental programs.
•    Participate in compliance with training programs.
•    Listen to and follow up on improvement ideas or comments regarding safety, health, and the environment from employees and third parties.
•    Participate in the HSE system.
•    Coordinate and lead the first aid team.
•    Coordinate and lead the safety and health committee.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Bachelors in General Medicine (Graduate) or Bachelor"s Degree in related discipline
  • Promote awareness in the organization, as well as the company's safety policy and objectives.
  • Participate in the follow-up of internal and external audit processes and governmental inspections.
  • Follow up on safety, health, and environmental metrics.
  • Participation in the creation, implementation and improvement of area documents, procedures, among others.
  • Participation and follow up of health, safety, and environmental programs.
  • Participate in the compliance of training programs.
  • Listen and follow up on ideas for improvement or comments on safety, health, and environmental issues from workers and third parties.
  • Participate in the HSE system.
  • Coordinate and lead the first aid brigade.
  • Coordinate and lead the health and safety committee.
  • Preventive services, health surveillance, safety, ergonomics, active breaks at work
  • Occupational medical evaluations (pre-employment, periodic, post-employment)
