Position Summary
Responsible for ensuring the continuous, accurate and standardized flow of materials from receiving to shipping, guaranteeing production supply, inventory accuracy, customer service performance and compliance with foreign trade regulations, aligned with Gates Production System (GPS) and World Class Service principles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for end-to-end material flow: receiving, storage, line supply, finished goods and shipping.
- Coordinate with Planning and Traffic the scheduling of inbound and outbound windows.
- Ensure validation of materials against purchase orders, invoices and customs documentation.
- Maintain inventory accuracy between Oracle (WMS) and AVEVA (MES).
- Ensure FIFO material flow and proper storage practices.
- Guarantee on-time, in-full shipments to customers (OTIF).
- Execute cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.
- Act as plant gatekeeper for foreign trade compliance and documentation integrity.
- Lead warehouse personnel ensuring safety, discipline and productivity.
- Completes work with a limited degree of supervision
- Applies knowledge of how the team integrates with other teams to achieve objectives
- Provides solutions to atypical problems based on proven practices or procedures
- Impacts the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of the team; recommends changes to improve efficiency

- Leads warehouse operational personnel including material handlers and forklift operators.

Requirements and Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing logistics operations
- Knowledge of WMS and MES systems
- Inventory control and warehouse operations
- Understanding of Mexican foreign trade regulations
