OVERVIEW:
HSE officer is response for develop and maintain HSE system in the organization with leadership skill.
Provide consultancy in HSE issues and work closely with shop floor staff to ensure that all activities are safety and comply with Gates requirements and local Thai safety and environment laws.
THE ROLE: The goal is monitors and follow HSE local regulation & Gates requirement expectations and actively supports Occupational Health, Safety and Environment.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The HSE Officer’s specific responsibilities will fall into 3 primary areas:
Accountability #1 HSE
- Develop and maintain HSE systems including HSE procedures and work instructions.
- Develop and implement ISO14001 & ISO45001 Procedure, Work instruction which related to ISO14001 & ISO45001 including to be responsible for following up the Audit CARs.
- Assist to set up internal audit and maintain ISO14001 & ISO45001 Management system.
- Establish HSE audit plan and implement the plan as well as follow up the audit findings to ensure that all findings have been managed.
- Update environmental, safety laws and related regulations. Conduct the HSE legal compliance audit.
- Collect and report HS&E information and statistics to all levels to monitor performance KPI.
- Provide the HSE report which needs to submit to the local authorities.
- Assist leadership to manage the STOP, SSFM & KYT programs, and activities within organization.
- Maintain the company safety data sheet to ensure “up-to-date” knowledge on GHS chemicals used within the company is readily available.
- Waste management to ensure that waste collection and disposal method comply with Thai laws and Gates requirements.
- Assist to develop the suitable HSE training packages to promote on the job/off the job safety.
- Manage the Security team included CCTV system
- Compliance and implementation with applicable company HSE policy, law & regulations, ISO14001 and ISO45001 management system.
- Compliance with company IATF16949 and ISO9001 requirements to follow company procedure, working instruction and other registered documents in management systems.
- Compliance with HR policy, government regulation, employee handbook etc.
- Other tasks or duties as direct supervisor assigned.
- Managing PPE
Accountability #2: Comply Gates’s requirement and local regulation
- Monitoring and maintain and follow the Gates Global HSE Standard or local regulations to ensure noncompliance issue.
- Update and register the new Gates’s requirement and local regulation to follow the description.
- Coordinates with others department to auditing functions and maintains records for in ISO14001 & ISO45001.
Accountability #3: HSE Shop floor
- Coordinates in plant to engaging all employees in the identification of HSE risks and opportunities to prevent HSE incidents, injuries, and illnesses with a passion for zero injuries and an incident free workplace.
- Improving the awareness and training of employees in HSE risk identification, operational controls, and encouraging proactive employee engagement
- Work with others department to implements, maintains, analyses, monitors, investigation to prevent any accident in plant.

- Understand Gates HSE requirements and encourage all functions to work comply with Gates HSE requirements
- Good cooperate with other departments and give the suggestions for HSE improvement
- Strong knowledge in Health, Safety and Environment
- Support the team to meet or exceed the objective’s assignment with teamwork
- Build continuous improvement culture
- Encourage and improve HSE culture
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree with major in Occupational health and safety or Environment
- Obtained professional safety officer license from the government
- Have a certificate for hazardous materials specialist (บฉ.3)
