Treasury Accountant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Cash Management: Process payments, manage cash positioning, handle FX confirmations, reconcile bank statements in Kyriba, and support bank account openings/closures and signature updates. Ensure compliance with financial controls and SOX, and participate in audits.

• Global Liquidity Management: Assist with inter-company loans, including interest accruals and FX revaluations, facilitate cash repatriation, and monitor investments in line with company policies.

• Accounting: Perform daily accounting for treasury entities, manage monthly close in Kyriba, reconcile balance sheet accounts, collect supporting documentation, resolve discrepancies, and prepare data for treasury bank accounts.

• Support corporate cash management projects and process improvement initiatives.

• Acts as a resource for other team members; may lead projects with limited risks and resource requirements

Requirements and Preferred Skills

• 5-7 years of professional experience in Finance or Accounting with 2 to 4 years of specific Treasury experience.  
• Experience with a treasury workstation or ERP system a plus
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong team player, proactively able to step in to support other team members as needed
• Knowledge of basic SOX controls and auditing processes and is committed to the importance of accounting standards and controls.   
• Experience manipulating large volumes of data in Excel and using complex formulas, pivot tables and macros.
• Demonstrates problem solving skills and understanding of appropriate escalation points.
• Works well under pressure, effectively handles conflict and demonstrates flexibility in work style to accommodate changing priorities and fixed deadlines.  Good at multitasking.
