Application Engineer

• As the successor to product application manager, capable of analyzing and solving application and coaching new guys. be good at communication(both verbal and written), can handle high pressure situation, fully understand and implement GUPT management idea, capable of leading and managing team, have a high EQ and initiative character for working, capable of offering suggestion and improve processes and procedures;
• Take charge of all kinds of industrial hose (included fuel hose, oil hose, coolant hose and SCR hose) and in automatic applications, include commercial vehicle market, knows all productions character and its application, Capable of coaching management sales, distributor and customer;
• Take charge of transmission products in automatic applications, knows all productions character and its application, Capable of coaching management sales and customer;
• Know well all Competitor Product Line and how to convert to GUPT’s, know all hose hardware capacities between GATES and competitors;
• Work for the new project of the customer and coordinate the whole process and progress of the project as the Team leader till SOP, having good communication with customer, and other team members;
• As project team leader, responsible for oversea new production and new project, till SOP;
• Solve application problem of related products and support the customer’s complaint. Finalize Customer Report in a timely manner and visit customer if necessary;
• Be good at English oral and written, communicate fluently, translate all GUPT PA notes and other key article into Chinese;
• Support product commercialization with Sales, PL and Marketing;
• Standardize PA working procedure, include drawing, analysis report, field information collection and customer information filing。Insure that all Processes and Procedures Signed off on before implementing;
• Develop application software in terms of sales or marketing requirement to increase efficiency;

Requirements and Preferred Skills

• University or above
• Over 4 years work experience;
• Know industrial hose application;
• Know automatic transmission products applications;
• Master AUTO CAD;CREO,UG,,Office
• Conduct efficient communication with customers;
• Familiar with products production process and key control points;
• capable for PM and leading team
• Familiar with QA procedure and project management;
• With ability to set up, push and finish the project;
• Good command of English listening, speaking and writing;
• Good team work spirit;
• Diligent.
