INTERNSHIPS AND CO-OPS

If you want to cultivate your skillset and get a jumpstart on your peers, consider an internship or co-op program with Gates. Our positions provide hands-on experience to help students explore their professional interests across a wide variety of fields. Summer Internship opportunities are typically posted late Winter and interviews are generally conducted throughout the Spring.

    STEM and Technical Training

    Gates offers, STEM and technical training programs to help employees advance within their technical and operational specialties. We also encourage all technical specialists to consider continuing their education and taking advantage of our tuition reimbursement program.

    Rotational Programs

    Our rotational programs allow recent graduates to gain experience in a variety of different departments in their desired field. Participants are able to grow their professional development through learning and networking opportunities, mentorship, cross-functional cohorts, and capstone projects. Rotational programs are available in human resources, engineering, and commercial leadership development.

    Participants in our Innovation in Engineering Program will join Gates’ engineering team and innovate in the science of motion performance through the hands-on experience you will need for a long, successful career. Whether your engineering focus is in manufacturing, process quality, packaging or research and development, you can help Gates build efficient and effective components and systems for the industrial and automotive worlds. This opportunity is typically posted in the Fall and interviews are generally conducted in the Winter.
