POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is a team member of the Industrial Pricing Team, reporting to a Quoting manager. The pricing tech position will be responsible for analyzing blueprints, specifications to ensure accurate bill of Materials and pricing. Creating layouts and BOM’s for tube and hose tube combos.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Review and check production specifications to ensure accuracy
  • Responsible for completing and managing Engineering Order Workflows
  • Create tube layouts, bill of materials and bend studio files for manufacturing
  • Coordinate production solutions by collaborating with Pricing, Engineering and Manufacturing
  • Direct communication with Customers, Customer Service Representatives and Account Sales Managers to ensure proper approvals for manufacturing
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Functions as an individual contributor with no supervisory responsibilities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 Minimum: BS/BA or equivalent (8 years of experience) with 1 year of pricing experience.

  • Preferred: BS/BA or equivalent (8 years of experience) with 5 years of sales, marketing, or pricing experience.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

  • Fundamental understanding of business concepts, pricing concepts and financial metrics.
  • Demonstrates initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of analyzing customer drawings/prints to determine complexity and build capabilities.
  • Strong aptitude for analytical analysis.
  • High level of efficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Lotus Notes is desired.
