Business Development Mgr, Mobility, East Asia & India

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as self-managed Business Development Manager to identify and execute growth opportunities, in coordination with the global Mobility team.
• Support existing customer, while working to expand sales on new applications.
• Conduct difficult negotiations with customers, explaining complex and sensitive information; works to build consensus. 
• Coach regional sales team to expand competencies and win customer projects; Champion and lead global opportunity pipeline.
• Recommend product and market strategies to expand Gates position.
• May require domestic and international travel for customer support (35%+).

• Strong contacts within the industry of the assigned mobility market segments; including customers, suppliers, partners, and major distributors.
• Strong English written and verbal communication; strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize resources and project timelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Requirements and Preferred Skills

• BS or BA; Engineering a plus; 5 years BD experience
• Passion and familiarity with bicycles, motorcycles, scooters, ATV and snowmobiles
