Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain proactive industrial relations to ensure a harmonious work environment across the plant.
- Manage relationships with multiple trade unions and represent the management in all IR matters.
- Facilitate negotiations for long-term wage settlements, productivity-linked incentive schemes, and union agreements.
- Ensure implementation of agreed terms and monitor compliance across the workforce.
- Ensure 100% compliance with applicable labour laws (ID Act, Factories Act, CLRA, etc.).
- Maintain accurate records and prepare statutory returns and reports.
- Handle inspections and audits by labour departments and statutory bodies.
- Conduct domestic inquiries, issue show-cause notices, charge sheets, and manage disciplinary actions as per company policy and legal framework.
- Liaise with government bodies, labour departments, and legal counsel for smooth operations.

- Requires expanded knowledge and experience in own area; incumbents are still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills
- Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own area of expertise while developing additional skill sets

Requirements and Preferred Skills
- 8-10 years of experience
- Typically requires a college or university degree or the equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts
