Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain proactive industrial relations to ensure a harmonious work environment across the plant.
  • Manage relationships with multiple trade unions and represent the management in all IR matters.
  • Facilitate negotiations for long-term wage settlements, productivity-linked incentive schemes, and union agreements.
  • Ensure implementation of agreed terms and monitor compliance across the workforce.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with applicable labour laws (ID Act, Factories Act, CLRA, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare statutory returns and reports.
  • Handle inspections and audits by labour departments and statutory bodies.
  • Conduct domestic inquiries, issue show-cause notices, charge sheets, and manage disciplinary actions as per company policy and legal framework.
  • Liaise with government bodies, labour departments, and legal counsel for smooth operations.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • 8-10 years of experience
  • Typically requires a college or university degree or the equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts
