Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for selling Gates' products face-to-face and remote selling to both new and existing key customers. Research customer needs and develop application of products and services in an effective manner to determine market strategies and goals for each product and service. Take responsibility for and making every effort to resolve communication, trust and respect concerns and problems. Implement strategies to accelerate growth of new and additional products and/or new markets. Identifying and contacting prospective customers and building relationships to generate future sales and repeat business. Monitor competitive environment to identify opportunities and countermeasures to address competition. Has primary accountability for the performance and revenue results for assigned accounts and additional accountability for strategic initiatives.

Keys to Success

ØDetermine annual plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas customer-wise, project expected sales volume for existing and new products; analyze trends and results; monitoring competition.
ØFormulate & design a trade/ sales policy to govern the AR-CV business with clear focus on achievement of plans/ budget & outlining the benefits to enhance the sales & output.
ØAnalyze the white spaces in the CV market for appointments of distributors or channel partners.
ØResponsible for driving the budget for CV segment, top line & bottom-line.
ØDevelop GTM strategies to increase range, introduce & establish new products in collaboration with product marketing.
ØCollaborate with the sales team to increase market share in the top 10 states as per VIO/ potential.
ØAccountable for increasing the reach in secondary & tertiary.
ØLead implementation of loyalty program on enrolment of mechanics & execution as per SoW
ØPrepare activity calendar – monthly/ quarterly/ half-early/ annual to conduct retailer, mechanic meets, participation in auto shows, trade fairs to gain brand visibility & demand for Gates products.
ØImplement marketing activities to generate demand across the secondary & tertiary channels.
ØTo nurture new distributors, ensure onboarding & analyze the SOB with support on marketing activities.
ØLead training activity for ASM’s, MSR’s, DSR’s on the products & soft skills with clear focus on the knowledge sharing & enhancing productivity

Supervisory Responsibilities

Requirements and Preferred Skills

Focus on top hubs for appointment of right distributor in the right market.
Onboarding of distributors as per SoP.
Loyalty program implementation.
Monitoring of mechanics enrolment.
Tracking of mechanics redemption – Total registered mechanics vs active mechanics.
Training to MSR’s, DSR’s & mechanics/ workshops as per training calendar.
