Essential Duties and Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

The role of In-Process QA (Belts) is responsible for ensuring that in-process quality standards for belts meet both internal and external customer requirements. This position involves overseeing in-process quality control, ensuring adherence to in-house manufacturing disciplines, and supporting quality audits.

 

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Mechanical Engineering degree, 3-5 years manufacturing experience, and strong technical skills
  • Ensure in-process quality control and compliance with QMS and customer standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement, update quality docs, and provide related training.
  • Manage complaints, implement Poka-Yokes and implement corrective actions.
  • Supervise QA team, conduct audits, and report quality metrics.
  • Collaborate on risk assessment, perform failure analysis and communicate findings, and drive reliability activities.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • No supervisory responsibilities; accountable for own contribution
