Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Marketing Manager in the delivery of marketing support to the Automotive and Industrial Aftermarket Sales teams. 
  • Implement marketing and digital marketing initiatives. 
  • Assist in promotional activities, marketing communications, product launches, coordination of marketing orders and administration duties, and management of sales lead generation
  • Supply of sales data reporting, when requested
  • Assist in public relations & communications initiatives
  • Marketing service support, such as but not limited to:
    • release of aftermarket case studies, product bulletins, press releases.
    • coordinating conferences and customer and trade events
    • developing and enhancing marketing collaterals – both print and digital.
    • Maintaining market intelligence
    • Working with supplier and agencies for marketing requirements including design and merchandising

  • Requires skilled in a range of processes, procedures and systems to carry out assigned tasks or has developed deep skills in a single area
  • Requires specialized skills or is multi-skilled developed through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • None
  • Likely to act as an informal resource for associates with less experience
  • Provides informal guidance and support to team members

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • A qualification in a marketing-related discipline and a minimum of 2-4 years' combined experience in marketing coordinator or administrative support roles.
  • Familiarity with event planning processes is desirable.
  • Must have excellent computer skills with the ability to efficiently use various Adobe Creative Cloud (intermediate to advanced, primarily InDesign but others desirable) and Microsoft office suite.
  • Proficient with Marketo (Marketing Automation) and CRM programs will be advantageous but not essential.
