Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our Denver office, you will lead the HRIS team and will serve as the Business Project Manager for global HR projects and serve as the primary manager and administrator of the global HRIS system.   

  • You'll be partnering with the HR Department leads and IT team to identify, initiate, test and implement new system functionality, system modifications and enhancements.  
  • This is an exciting opportunity for you because you will be serving as the global system administrator to ensure system functionality and data integrity.  
  • You'll be working with regional leads and local HRIS to meet end-user needs and improve system capabilities for SAP SuccessFactors & Oracle eBS.
  • This position is vital to Gates because you will recognize areas for process improvement and be practicing effective change management on a global level.

Key responsibilities (to name a few):

  • Responsible for the project management in coordination with IT for global HRIS initiatives which includes determining scope of the project and defining business requirements, key deliverables, designing project plans, identifying contingencies, resources and timelines, then executing the plan to achieve the project deliverables, while remaining within the timeline and budget of the project.
  • Working with third-party administrator, you will be leading overall business system management to ensure successful implementation of new functionality, patch testing, system upgrades and troubleshooting of systematic issues in the global HRIS system.  
  • Ensuring test plans are in place and risks are mitigated to the extent possible.
  • Leading the Data Governance global team and managing the global project for Data Standardization.   
  • Ensuring data integrity in all HR systems and integration files and conducts periodic regular audits to ensure data quality on a global basis.  
  • Serving as champion of global HRIS system (Oracle and SAP SuccessFactors) and gain/maintain support of regional leads in incorporating maintenance of the system in their day-to-day business routine.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  •    You will have direct reports in this position whom you will manage and develop. 

Requirements and Preferred Skills

    

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 10 - 12 years of experience.
  • HR functional experience and assignments in a variety of environments (SAP SuccessFactors and HR analytics required).
  • HRIS leadership experience in Oracle, SAP SuccessFactors or other major HR and ERP systems 
  • Functional and configuration setup for SAP (ATS, Talent Management, Employee Central. Compensation, etc) modules preferred.  
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Excel required.   Microsoft access skills a plus.
  • Experience working across countries/regions in a large multi-national corporation preferred.
  • Acquisition integration of HR systems a plus.
  • Business acumen and the ability to appreciate need to change approach based on regional requirements.
  • High level of partnering, influencing, coaching, and communication skills (written and verbal). 
  • Demonstrated capability to work in a highly matrixed organization, leveraging talent and knowledge sharing across teams, regions, divisions and functional areas.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships across regional boundaries. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees across multiple functions (HR Teams and IT) and regions.
  • Capable of driving change and serving as a change agent. Flexibility to adapt to quickly changing business needs.

Pay & Benefits

  • Full-Time
  • Salary range: $185,000 - $205,000
  • Bonus Eligible
  • Relocation is not provided
