Essential Duties and Responsibilities

OVERVIEW:

Our Denver office is looking for Market and Business intelligence Analyst within our Global Mobility group to support the organization to understand the market/business dynamics and make informed decisions on marketing strategies, product development and overall business growth.  Please review below to see if this might be the right opportunity for you.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Market and Sales Data Collection and Preparation:

  • Assist in gathering data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external systems.
  • Prepare and clean data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Market and Sales Data Analysis:

  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify patterns, trends, and insights, notably market shares
  • Utilize statistical tools and software to process and interpret data.

Reporting / Data Visualization:

  • Prepare and maintain detailed reports, charts, and presentations to communicate findings to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure accuracy and clarity in all reports and documentation.

Database Management:

  • Maintain and update intelligence databases and data warehouses, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the development and maintenance of dashboards for ongoing market monitoring.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments such as communication-marketing, business development, operations, and product development.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and provide market insights as needed.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics, especially on AI opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose solutions.

Support Business Decisions:

  • Provide data-driven insights to support strategic planning, marketing, and operational decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Market Research Support:

  • Assist in conducting primary and secondary market research to collect data on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Contribute to market research data analysis.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Internship or 1-2 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role is preferred.

 

Skills and Capabilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Knowledge of database management and data warehousing and associated tools like Access
  • Familiarity with statistics and software like SPSS/SAS would be a plus
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

PAY & BENEFITS

  1. Full-Time
  2. Salary Range: $77,000 - $82,000
  3. Relocation is not provided
  4. Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and other voluntary benefit options: benefits begin on the first day of the month immediately following your date of hire
  5. Eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating) + 8 sick days. All vacation days are accrued
  6. 401(k): 3% company contribution and additional 3% company match
  7. Tuition Reimbursement
