Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded, and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our Denver office, you will key member of the Industrial Pricing Team, reporting to the Pricing Manager, the Pricing Analyst will be responsible for managing pricing activities in the Industrial First Fit Market across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

  • You’ll be working closely with various teams, including Customer Service, North American and Global Field Sales, Product Application Engineering, Packaging, Manufacturing, and Marketing.
  • This is an exciting opportunity for you because you will be generating quotes for Gates-manufactured belts and hoses, with a focus on meeting profitability targets by developing and executing product pricing and profit strategies for assigned markets and customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of pricing, including quoting, price adjustments, prototype-to-production requests, raw material agreements, deductions, accrual communications, and production setup.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and profitable quote delivery, including tracking and evaluation, while aligning with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, marketing, engineering, and cross-functional teams to develop and execute competitive pricing strategies.
  • Translate and analyze complex data into actionable strategies that drive sales growth, enhance profit margins, and support business decisions.
  • Manage the process of hydraulic assembly item setup, including interpretation of customer blueprints, creation of master specifications, and coordination across multiple specification systems.
  • Evaluate internal and customer requests with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industry standards to ensure feasibility.
  • Identify and challenge inconsistencies in customer requests, providing recommendations and solutions that balance customer objectives with company goals.

  • No supervisory responsibilities but may provide guidance to new associates

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • BS/BA or equivalent (4 years of experience) with 1 year of pricing experience.
  • Fundamental understanding of business principles, pricing strategies, and financial metrics, with the ability to manage detail-oriented projects and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Self-motivated, with a focus on identifying quality solutions and continuously improving processes while prioritizing business needs.
  • Strong analytical skills with a talent for data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with Oracle/SAP and a pricing system is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and contribute within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Excellent math skills, including proficiency in algebra, equations, fractions, and decimals.
  • Excited to work in the office with great teammates.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Pay & Benefits

  • Full-Time
  • Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000
  • No bonus potential 
  • Relocation is not provided
  • Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and other voluntary benefit options: benefits begin on the first day of the month immediately following your date of hire
  • Eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating) + 8 sick days. All vacation days are accrued
