Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded, and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our downtown Denver office, you will be responsible for oversight and management of financial planning and analytics within a team managing nearly $2B in annual revenue.

 

In this highly visible role, you'll have the responsibility to improve accuracy and reliability in annual plans, monthly forecasts, and metric reporting to drive informed business decisions. You will be a key partner to leadership, with the task of identifying growth opportunities, margin expansion potential, performance reporting enhancement, while ensuring a reliable control environment. You will help improve the financial planning foundational processes while designing models that better utilize external and macro-economic inputs. 

 

You will have extensive knowledge of finance functions as well as business processes and information flow, with a proven capability to communicate and collaborate with diverse functions in the company. This is a cross-functional position, with the opportunity to work with many areas of the business including Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Product Line Management, and executive leadership. Your mandate: strengthen the FP&A foundation, drive forecast accuracy, and provide actionable insights that guide decisions on growth, margin expansion, and capital allocation. You will lead a team of analysts to evolve FP&A from “what happened” to “why it happened and what we should do next.” The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to influence decisions throughout various levels of the company. You will have a strong passion for finance and business partnership, as well as a successful leadership track record, with an unrelenting desire to learn. This individual will be a strong mentor with the ability to help his/her team succeed and grow their careers. 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the FP&A team responsible for annual planning, rolling forecasts, and scenario modeling across revenue, cost, and margin.
  • Design and implement driver-based planning models to align financial outcomes with key operational levers (volume, labor, materials, utilization).
  • Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial leaders to integrate operational data into financial plans and forecasts.
  • Provide decision support on capital investments, cost optimization initiatives, and growth projects, with robust what-if analysis.
  • Build and maintain a single source of truth for FP&A, standardizing reporting and leveraging automation tools to reduce manual effort.
  • Translate financial and operational trends into insights that support proactive decision-making.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, ensuring financial plans anticipate external market shifts, input cost changes, and demand volatility.
  • Support the North America revenue and margin consolidation, ensuring consolidated plans achieve financial performance targets for the region. 
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and company policies.

  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience utilizing financial and reporting tools such as Oracle and Power BI
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills in analytically based content, effective presenter, with experience presenting to senior leadership  

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Responsible for direct management of the FP&A and commercial finance team.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics with MBA preferred.
  • 10 plus years of progressive experience in FP&A, preferably in manufacturing or related industries. At least 2 years in a manager role, with demonstrated success in building FP&A capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, and performance measurement methodologies.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Pay & Benefits

  • Full-Time
  • Salary: $150,00 - $165,000
  • Bonus Eligible
  • Relocation is not provided
  • Medical, Dental, Vision insurance, and other voluntary benefit options: benefits begin on the first day of the month immediately following your date of hire.
  • Eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating) + 8 sick days. All vacation days are accrued. 
  • 401(k): 3% company contribution and additional 3% company match
