Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Modern Apprentice will play a key supporting role within the Production Planning team, contributing to the efficiency of operations and gaining broad exposure across various business functions. This position offers hands-on experience and development opportunities in key planning and operational areas.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the scheduling and planning of production activities
  • Assist with raw material forecasting and supplier communication
  • Participate in new business and commercialisation projects
  • Monitor and report on scanning compliance within production areas
  • Contribute to material variance analysis and improvement initiatives
  • Help develop and systemise local planning tools and reports
  • Assist with stock tracking and WIP (Work in Progress) valuation
  • Take part in SAP integration and other site-wide improvement projects

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • 0-1 year(s) of experience
  • Educated to National 5 level or equivalent at Grade A-C. Minimum of 1 in STEM subject.
  • Computer literate and fully familiar with all Microsoft applications – Word, Excel & Powerpoint
  • Excellent organisational, communication skills both written and verbal and be able to use own initiative
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Reliability
