Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team.  Located in our Englewood, CO office , you will be a Product Application Engineer!  The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong mechanical and technical skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team.

  • You will primarily provide technical and hands-on support to our aftermarket equipment product line on the Fluid Power side of the business.  
  • This is an exciting opportunity for you because you will be working with customers, product line management, procurement and technical teams on a variety of projects to enhance our product offering and equipment programs.
  • You will heavily be involved in troubleshooting customer questions that arise, either remotely or in-person.
  • There is also opportunity for field engineering work where you will provide onsite technical support for customers. 

 

Key responsibilities (to name a few):

  • Technical & Development Support: You'll be the go-to expert for our aftermarket assembly equipment, including crimpers, saws, pumps, and racks. You'll support the development of new equipment and components, as well as provide in-depth troubleshooting and repair.  Act as the primary technical contact for our equipment vendor partners, supporting procurement with vendor and quality activities.
  • Training: Develop and provide in-depth equipment training for internal teams and customers, including our popular Fluid Power Workshops.
  • Marketing & Commercial Support: Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to support the creation of promotional materials and other collateral related to our assembly equipment.  Create technical or how-to material to support our field team and customers.
  • Providing engineering service to customers and clients in the proper application and selection fluid power products.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • None.
  • Acts as a resource for other team members; may lead projects with limited risks and resource requirements.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferrable Mechanical, plus 3-5 years of engineering experience OR 5-10 years of progressive engineering experience, required.
  • Must be hands-on and willing to roll-up your sleeves, as well as not be afraid to take things apart.
  • Engineering discipline with a focus on Mechanical and Fluid Power systems, preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to manage customer personalities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills - coupled with the ability to maintain and generate product application literature, media, and technical articles.
  • Ability to travel to customers, plants and conferences as required (minimum 10%).
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize resources and project timelines. 
  • Proficient in MicroSoft Office products
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

 

Pay & Benefits

  • Full-Time
  • Salary Range: $108,000 - $115,000
  • No bonus potential
  • Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and other voluntary benefit options: benefits begin on the first day of the month immediately following your date of hire
  • Eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating) + 8 sick days. All vacation days are accrued 
  • 401(k): 3% company contribution and additional 3% company match
