What to Expect
We are seeking a Business Analyst based in Egem, Belgium to join our EMEA-focused Finance team. This role plays a key part in leveraging data analytics and financial insights to support financial planning, reporting, and overall business performance.
Working cross-functionally across the organization, the Business Analyst will collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to analyze data, develop meaningful insights, and support strategic decision-making. The role is instrumental in enhancing data visibility, improving reporting processes, and driving performance optimization across the EMEA region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Data Preparation
- Collect, clean, and preprocess financial and business data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements in data handling and reporting.
Visualization and Reporting
- Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to effectively communicate insights and support decision-making.
- Perform ad hoc analyses and support special projects based on business needs.
Cross-functional Teamwork and Project Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and align analytics with business objectives.
- Act as a key point of contact between Finance and other departments to ensure consistent and actionable reporting.

Requirements and Preferred Skills
- 2-4 years of experience
- Typically requires a college or university degree or the equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL and DAX.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
- Continuous learning mindset and adaptability.
- Enterprise Resources Planning & Financial Software acquaintance (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion and related)
