What To Expect

While working on-site at our Euskirchen location, you will gain valuable hands-on experience as an HSE-Student in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) management. You will actively support our HSE team in daily operations as well as in exciting projects, contributing directly to a safe and sustainable workplace. Your working hours will be arranged in line with your availability so that your studies remain the top priority, with flexible scheduling of up to 20h/week during lecture periods. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare, update, and maintain occupational health and safety documentation (e.g., risk assessments, operating instructions, hazardous substances register).

  • Contribute to the development of new HSE documents and guidelines.

  • Support the preparation and reporting of HSE key performance indicators.

  • Assist in the organization of trainings, briefings, and workshops on current HSE topics.

  • Actively participate in HSE projects and initiatives.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • Enrolled student at a university or university of applied sciences in the field of Safety Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable study program.

  • Strong interest in occupational health and safety and in further developing HSE processes - initial practical experience in HSE or occupational safety is a plus. 

  • Ability to work independently, reliably, and with attention to detail.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills combined with organizational talent.

  • High motivation to learn and contribute to the further development of HSE topics.
  • Good English skills and fluent German.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
