Assistant Manager - Application Engineer FP

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Translate Customers Enquiries, Drawings, Specifications to Gates Parts and build BOMs and prepare quote proposals
2. To coordinate with Manufacturing and build samples as per customer requirements.
3. Responsible of handling key strategic customer calls on product or application engineering or specification issues and providing technical ’hot line’ support i.e. proper application and selection products, Investigate applications and provide best solutions with existing products
4. Responsible for being the first line of contact between the sales group and colleagues in other key support groups
5. To Support the implementation of the Customer Alignment Model by developing strong engineering relationships with engineers within assigned key customers.
6. To Support the Product Commercialization Process on key projects.
7. Assist in resolving warranty claims by investigating application , routing and any other technical requirements
8. To identify VA/VE opportunities and provide best solutions with existing products.
9. New product development time plan finalization with customer and supplier.
10. New product development and coordination of supplier & customer PPAP

Requirements and Preferred Skills

• 5-7 years of experience
