Assistant Manager - D&L

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate with all stakeholders to meet daily and monthly sales and operational targets.

• Coordinate and monitor timely delivery of outbound shipments as per agreed TAT.

• Maintain customer complaint logs and records, responding to issues or complaints.
• Timely renewal of warehouse and logistics contract agreements and ensure processing of warehouse and logistics service bills in line with contract agreements.
• Establish and monitor process for receiving, storing, and issuance of inventory Parts. implement inventory control procedures to maintain stock accuracy as per policy.
• Optimize warehouse layout, storage methods, and material handling for efficiency. Ensure compliance to all applicable policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Review and report daily warehouse performance, initiate corrective actions to address process gaps and circulate performance updates.
• Train and mentor warehouse and 3PL staff on inventory and warehouse best practices.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across planning, procurement, commercial, finance, and operations teams.
• Lead and facilitate discussions with senior leadership to enable informed decision-making and issue resolution.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline workflows.
• Improve skill set of team members and service partners through cross trainings for operation flexibility.
• Handling packaging master data management for ensuring consistency and strengthening decision-making.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• The incumbent reports to SCM Manager Faridabad & manage the 3Pl contractor. 

Requirements and Preferred Skills

• Preferably with Minimum 8 years of proven track record in, Warehouse, Inventory and Logistics Management.
• Engineering Graduate along with Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
