Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the production planning process with a right input from actual customer demand /Product lead time /Machine capability and replenishment strategies,
  • Create production planning to fulfill the customer key requirement and ensure the OTTR/OTTC/OTIF performance
  • To ensure the production plan to meet the customer’s last mile delivery.
  • Communicate & Ensure the PSD (Promises ship date) communication to Customer support team.
  • Preparation of Daily Production Plan process of Assemblies & Kits SKU’s. Work out the weekly production plan and communicate to the next level manager to align the RM & capacity availability and production resources allocated.
  • Releasing the job order to production against the daily plan
  • Follow-up with production team for execution and FG stock movement to FG warehouse for on time customer dispatch.
  • Review of the pending job order in system and work with the production team for quick execution.
  • Monitor the Job order release and job order closing as per the agreed lead time.
  • Releasing the child part issue slip in ERP against the shift wise production plan.
  • Follow up the technical team for new product Job order release and routing update in ERP.
  • Preparing daily machine wise loading plan and discuss with production team.
  • Ensuring the Customer service level is greater than 95% by Monitoring the Daily Sale Order entry and rescheduling the Production plan against the CRD.
  • Optimize the production line utilization and reduce the downtime.
  • Assess production capacity across the production line /Shifts / OEE to meet the demands.
  • Coordinating with Manufacturing and operation teams to ensure the readiness of 5P( People/Place/Parts/Process & Planning)
  • Co-ordinate with warehouse and Logistics team to ensure on time dispatch to customer as per CRD.
  • Monitoring the production plan Vs actual process and re-plan/Adjust the schedule in real time to recover from disruptions.
  • Publish the production plan Vs actual and work out the detailed analysis for variance and collaborate with CFT for quick recovery.
  • Identify and implement the technique to reduce the change overs and increase machine throughput and improve the production plan stability.
  • Working with plant head to finalize the monthly production plan and working days patterns.  
  • Maintain effective communications with all Departments for better production plan execution process.
  • Ensure the closing job order in ERP as per ERP & statutory guidelines
  • Interact closely with cross functional team including production, purchase, SQA, Procurement, Sourcing, in-house Quality, Design, and application Engineering team,

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • The incumbent reports to Manager– S&OP and supports him in all day-to-day operations to achieve the business goals of the company. Interact closely with cross functional team including production, SQA, Procurement, Sourcing, in-house Quality, Design, and application Engineering team,

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • Minimum 3 years, proven track record in Supply chain planning in a manufacturing environment.
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Management or equivalent.
