Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated and structured Team Lead Traffic to join our logistics team. In this role, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of both inbound and outbound logistics processes. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing all outbound processes supervising and supporting a small team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinates all outbound logistics processes, including shipment registration, customs and transport documentation

Ensures timely and accurate deliveries, acting as point of contact for carriers and customer service

Resolves daily operational issues and supports planning in cooperation with traffic and warehouse management

Leads and supports 2 inbound team members, ensuring correct and timely processing of incoming goods

Ensures compliance with receiving and safety procedures

Reports workload and operational performance to management

Supports training, creates specialist roles on the floor, and keeps training materials up to date

Drives collaboration between traffic and operations teams

Participates in process improvements and optimization initiatives

- Requires expanded knowledge and experience in own area; incumbents are still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills
- Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own area of expertise while developing additional skill sets
Supervisory Responsibilities
Leads and supports 2 inbound team members
Requirements and Preferred Skills

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, economics or related field
-
2–4 years of relevant experience in transport or traffic coordination

Strong analytical skills and confident use of Excel

Experience with SAP, AS400, or WMS (Dispatcher) is a plus
-
Excellent organizational and communication skills

Solution-oriented, reliable, and stress-resistant

Positive and flexible mindset; hands-on mentality

Independent, structured, and lean working approach

Fluent in Dutch and English
