What to expect
As a Traffic Analyst, you hold an essential role in our distribution center. Working closely with a dedicated team, you’ll manage the daily flow of goods—both incoming and outgoing—ensuring everything runs smoothly and on time.
This position combines hands-on operational tasks with a clear, structured approach. You’ll oversee processes related to inbound and outbound shipments, monitor performance, and ensure accuracy and efficiency in every step of the logistics chain.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Receiving – Inbound
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all incoming shipments via sea, air, and road freight.
- Maintain strict compliance with receiving procedures and workplace safety standards.
- Investigate discrepancies, analyze errors, and report issues to planning, quality coordination, and accounting teams.
- Provide daily reports on incoming loads and workload status to management for operational transparency.
Traffic – Outbound
- Coordinate and register all outbound shipments, including preparation of customs and transport documentation.
- Guarantee on-time dispatch from the distribution center and successful delivery to customers, ensuring clear and customer-friendly communication with transport partners and customer service.
- Plan and release daily workload in close collaboration with DC management to optimize efficiency.
- Proactively resolve operational challenges to maintain smooth outbound flow.
Finally, you will be responsible for the further roll-out of the training policy by means of an existing training matrix for all workers employed on both inbound and outbound. You do this in tandem with the people responsible in the warehouse.

Leads and supports 2 inbound team members
Requirements and Preferred Skills

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, economics or related field

2–4 years of relevant experience in transport or traffic coordination

Strong analytical skills and confident use of Excel

Experience with SAP, AS400, or WMS (Dispatcher) is a plus

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Solution-oriented, reliable, and stress-resistant

Positive and flexible mindset; hands-on mentality

Independent, structured, and lean working approach

Fluent in Dutch and English
