Essential Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior HR Leader with deep expertise in industrial relations, employee relations, and enterprise people strategy to operate effectively in a complex matrix environment and support growth and transformation agendas.
This role requires a strategic, commercially astute HR partner who can shape workforce and organization strategies, balance performance and governance, and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. The individual will play a critical role in enabling scale, productivity, and leadership effectiveness across the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a strategic people partner to the India Leadership Team, enabling growth, productivity, and disciplined cost management.
- Translate business strategy into India-specific workforce, capability, and operating plans.
- Lead HR and Industrial Relations across all manufacturing sites, ensuring stable operations and compliant labor practices.
- Lead union and employee relations strategy, managing negotiations, disputes, and sensitive cases with credibility and sound judgment.
- Partner with leadership on expansion, restructuring, productivity improvement, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Drive organization design, workforce planning, and change management to support business transformation.
- Build leadership capability and succession pipelines across manufacturing and commercial functions.
- Shape a high-performance, value-led, and inclusive culture with strong governance and ethical standards.
- Partner with HR COEs on India rewards, performance management, and policy frameworks aligned with market and global standards.
- Lead and develop the India HR team, driving operational excellence, data-driven decisions, and cross-functional collaboration.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- A team of 12-16
- Sets organizational priorities and allocates resources; executes department business plans
- Has team leadership, performance management and people development responsibility to build strong teams
Requirements and Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline; Master’s/MBA preferred.
- 12-15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with significant exposure to manufacturing and industrial relations in India.
- Demonstrated experience leading HR in multi-site manufacturing environments with unions and complex labor laws.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate business strategy into people, cost, and capability outcomes.
- Proven credibility partnering with senior leaders and navigating matrix, transformation, and high-change environments.
- Strong analytical skills and experience leveraging HR data to drive business decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
