Essential Duties and Responsibilities
HR Intern is responsible for researching, identifying and mapping potential talent pools in the current job market in alignment with workforce planning for organization’s current and future hiring needs. This role is also required to support the HR processes optimization project.
As HR Intern, your responsibilities are:
Market Talent Assessment
- Conduct market research to identify talent pools
- Analysis of data on competitor talent pools and skill sets
- Assist in creating reports and presentations on talent mapping findings to share with HR leadership
HR Process Optimization
- Participate in the review of existing HR processes to identify areas of improvement and efficiency.
- Support the documentation and mapping of current HR workflows.
- Assist in creating recommendations for optimizing HR systems, processes, and procedures.
- Gather data on process effectiveness and assist with generating insights to streamline HR operations.
End objectives of the internship
By the end of the internship, the HR Intern will have successfully identified and mapped external talent pools for critical roles within the organization, and learn how to streamline and simplify HR processes.
Requirements and Preferred Skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Strong interest in Human Resources
- Excellent research, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
