Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with Labor Law and local HR practices in Luxembourg. and staying updated on local changes in regulations and compliance requirements.
- Maintaining employee files and handling related administrative tasks.
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees in Luxembourg, Italy, and South Africa by collaborating with finance and HR teams and staying updated on local payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ensuring the seamless operation of our HR systems through meticulous maintenance and proficient data entry.
- Addressing employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures and mediating and resolving employee disputes when necessary to ensure a positive employee experience and promoting a positive work environment.
- Supporting in the administration of compensation and benefits programs such as benchmarking and analyzing market compensation trends and ensuring competitive and equitable compensation packages.
- Collaborating with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and create recruitment strategies.
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from posting job openings to onboarding new hires.
- Assisting in the execution of talent management initiatives such as contributing to the identification and development of high-potential employees and supporting employee development and career progression through training and mentorship programs.
- Assisting in the management of Gates performance management processes and providing guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement plans

Supervisory Responsibilities
- No supervisory responsibilities but may provide guidance to new associates

Requirements and Preferred Skills
- 2-4 years of experience in HR in Luxembourg
- Typically requires a college or university degree or the equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of local labor laws, payroll and regulations in Luxembourg
- Knowledge of these regulations in Italy, and/or South Africa is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR information.
- Fluent in English, knowledge of Italian is a plus
