Temporary Logistics Specialist

We are currently seeking a Fixed-Term (Temporary) Logistics Specialist to be based at our factory in the Gaziemir Free Zone. This is an 11-month fixed-term position to cover a maternity leave.

This role serves as the primary communication link between our plant and both OEM and aftermarket customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing all O.E.M. and aftermarket customer shipping documents, customs paperwork, legal documents
• Processing all procurement issues, shipping documents, customs paperwork of Aegean Free Trade Zone.
• Arranging transportation for outbound shipment and to arrange  inbound shipments if needed.
• Define a tracking and monitoring system for all shipments
• Controls the invoices of forwarders and customs broker. reports to the revenue office.
• Controls expedite shipments, works in minimizing the costs and reports to top management
• Works with broker in order to optimize customs clearance costs such as customs overtime

Requirements and Preferred Skills

• 0-1 year(s) of experience in logistics department 
• Bachelor's Degree in International Trade, Foreign Trade or related fields.
• Must have experience in an automotive supplier environment
• SAP knowledge is required 
• Must be able to balance the many schedules and tasks and communicate clearly and calmly when seeking solutions to scheduling difficulties requirements.
• Must have the ability to work independently and organize the work load.
• Excellent command of English
