What to Expect

We are looking for a Customer Quality Engineer to join our Kemalpaşa plant, you will be the main contact for our customers on quality-related topics. 

You will manage complaints, lead corrective actions, and ensure customer requirements are met throughout projects and production. Working closely with internal teams and suppliers, you will drive continuous improvement to secure customer satisfaction and compliance with international standards. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main contact for customers on quality issues, complaints, and performance topics.
  • Manage customer complaints, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor customer quality performance metrics (PPM, delivery performance, complaints) and report results to management.
  • Ensure customer-specific requirements are integrated into quality systems and production processes.
  • Support new product introduction with APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP submissions.
  • Lead containment activities, problem-solving, and communication during customer issues or escalations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve customer-related quality problems.
  • Review customer specifications for new projects and ensure compliance.
  • Organize customer visits, audits, and quality reviews.
  • Maintain quality documentation and ensure traceability of returns, corrective actions, and calibration records.
  • Actively contribute to process improvement and quality system development initiatives.

  • Assigns tasks to and coordinates work with entry-level engineers, technicians, or administrative staff.

  • Works on small projects or portions of larger projects
  • Performs moderate design tasks.
  • Prepares portions of project documents.
  • Edits specifications.
  • Performs research and investigations
  • Assists in determining schedule and budget requirements.
  • Evaluates, selects, and applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional projects with few complex features.
  • Possesses effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Assists with client, customer, or official contacts and communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings.
  • Collaboratively uses judgment to determine adaptations in methods for nonroutine aspects of assignments.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • 2-4 years of experience
  • Typically requires a college or university degree or the equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC).
  • Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle direct customer interaction.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
