What to Expect

We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our Kemalpaşa plant. In this role, you will be responsible for one of the most critical stages in rubber hose production the vulcanization process, which ensures the final product’s durability and quality.

You will lead process optimization, 5S, and scrap reduction projects, support new product launches, and take part in key equipment implementations such as autoclaves, washing units, and automation systems. Working closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams, you will drive continuous improvement to ensure efficiency, safety, and product excellence. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implementation of production processes and company procedures, leading productivity improvements, including reducing waste, improving quality and safety, and reducing operating costs.  Manage KPIs and ensure preventative actions are taken to maximise success by collaborating with department (curing, extruder, assembly, injection) responsibles.
  • Improves production efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, requirments and equipment.
  • Provides production decesion-making information by calculating labor, material cost; reviewing production schudules; estimating future requirements.
  • Prepare production reports by collecting analyzing summarizing information and trends.
  • Comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.
  • Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and unplanned outages.
  • Plan and coordinate production on daily basis to produce high quality products.
  • Develop process improvements to effectively utilize equipment and materials to maximize production.
  • Develop operational activites to achieve safety, quality, productivity objectives.
  • Define and document clear written specifications and procedures to direct the Operations team in effective.
  • Lead and/or support department responsibles, Train people within own work group, Supervise sub-contractors.
  • Be an effective team member, working with supervisor and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow with maximum output.

  • Idenfy unsafe operations and practices report to Manager immediately.
  • To apply the system that meets the requirements of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, IATF 16949 Automotive Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
  • Responsible for supporting the monitoring of process performances and supporting projects for process improvement studies.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • 2-4 years of experience
  • Typically requires a college or university degree or the equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts
  • Requires a degree in mechanical, industrial or chemical engineering.
  • Have a sound knowledge of statistics.
  • Capable of leading problem solving activities.
  • Analytical thinking and result oriented.
  • Strong computer skills with sound knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Good written and oral communications skills.
  • Fluent in both verbal and written English.
  • No restriction for travel in and out of country.
