Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Executing purchase order management strategies and actions plans to focus on day-to-day execution of buying plans to achieve overall organization’s objectives
- Implement the required action plan to ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase orders to support efforts to achieve to meet supply requirements, optimize supplier performance, and control costs.
- Flag delivery risks and escalate to Procurement Manager or Supply Planner.
- Coordinate with finance on unmatched POs or invoice issues
- Validate pricing changes or part updates with suppliers.
- Create and release purchase orders from MRP outputs or manual requisitions.
- Update PO lines based on supplier confirmations (dates, pricing).
- Track open orders, expedite or de-expedite based on inventory levels or demand shifts.
- Resolve PO/invoice mismatches (price, quantity, tax discrepancies).
- Maintain purchase info records and vendor master data.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with SIOP, suppliers and D&L warehouse teams to ensure buying and planning alignment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing insights and proposing enhancements to buying processes or tools
- Participate in S&OP supply review meetings to represent supply capabilities and constraints

Requirements and Preferred Skills
- Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- 5-7 years of experience in procurement within manufacturing/engineering environment
- Good problem solving & decision making skills
- A collaborator with multidisciplinary team
- Transdisciplinary thinking
