POSITION SUMMARY:

We are searching for a Clerk  - Exim who possesses the knowledge of EXIM to operate effectively in a matrix environment and have confidence in driving aggressive growth plans. The person should have a consultative and collaborative style, proven track record / achievement. THE ROLE

The EXIM Clerk will be responsible for handling all export and import documentation, coordination with logistics partners, and ensuring compliance with statutory and international trade regulations for smooth shipment and actions plans to analyzing and negotiate offers to assure best cost together with Local functional leaders (i.e. Innovation, Operations, Finance, HR, IT and Supply Chain) to achieve overall organization’s objectives. In addition, this role would have to liaise with Multi-discipline team including support functions, to delight our Internal and External stakeholders.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below.

The responsibilities of the role are to implement the required action plan, manage Material planning and Production planning of metals production projects, for incoming raw material stores for metals section, etc. activities to support efforts to achieve the purchase outcomes. The role shall carry out tactical activities for project timing plan & milestones and drive suppliers for compliance.

 

The assigned territories include Fluid Power businesses in India.The specific responsibilities will fall into three primary areas:

 

Maximum 3 pointers per accountability

Accountability #1: Customer (Internal / External Stakeholders)

  • Handle export-import documentation and logistics coordination for industrial hose shipments
  • Ensure compliance with customs, DGFT, and GST regulations
  • Prepare export documents (Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill, B/L, COO)

Accountability #2: Process / Performance

  • Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, and shipping lines
  • Ensure timely dispatch of hose consignments as per schedule
  • Track export shipments and update stakeholders
  • Manage import documentation for raw materials, components, and machinery
  • Coordinate customs clearance with CHA
  • Verify Bill of Entry and inbound shipment documents
  • Ensure timely receipt and avoid demurrage

 

 

Accountability #3: People

 

  • Coordinate with Production/PPC for dispatch readiness
  • Work with Purchase for import planning
  • Liaise with Finance for LC, payments, and documentation
  • Arrange transport for export shipments
  • Monitor shipment movement (inbound & outbound)

Requirements and Preferred Skills

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent reports Sr – Analyst Exim & operate in individual contributor capacity.

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS/ QUALIFICATIONS & PREFERRED SKILLSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

This person must have at least 2-5 years hands on experience in EXIM  in the assigned countries or region.

 

 

  • Diploma/ Graduate/Engineer.
  • 2 years of related work experience.

 

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • The incumbent will be responsible Material planning and Production planning of projects, for incoming raw material & stores operation. The objectives necessitate alignment of activities with the FP Worldwide Procurement objectives, policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Responsible for Import of Materials from Supplier and Co-coordinating with custom house agent for forwarding / tracking / obtaining clearances of all documents from customs.
  • Responsible for overall function of department.

  • Knowledge of Import & Export procedure regarding International Trade, Shipping related, Indian customs, Foreign Exchange, SVB, MEIS, SHIS, Advance license & Letter of Credit. Document controlling & Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Excellent problem solving and statistical analysis skills
  • Proven ability in multitasking and prioritizing workload
  • Tracking all the consignments as per scheduled delivery & track whether all import documents are available for clearance
  • Co-coordinating with custom house agent for forwarding / tracking / obtaining clearances of all documents from customs. Also co-ordinate with customs office for clearance if necessary
  • Finalize transporter for transporting consignments from customs to destination area
  • Provide documentation for movement of cargo from the pickup location to final destination (e.g.  E way bill)
  • Process import BOE in System before arrival of the shipment.
  • Forward consignment documents to stores & co-ordinate for completion of MRR Formalities.
  • Co-ordinate with Stores / Freight forwarder /Indian Custom/DGFT/ Transporter for any damages/shortage/query in received consignments & sort out the same.
  • Organize insurance surveyor if required.
  • Forward the Transporter bills / Vendor bills / Custom House Agent bills / expenses to Finance for payment process. Co-ordinate with Finance for payments for forwarded bills.
  • Timely Re- conciliation with service provider.
