POSITION SUMMARY:

We are searching for a Manager – S&OP  who possesses the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning skills and competencies to operate effectively in a matrix environment and have confidence in driving aggressive growth plans. The person should have a consultative and collaborative style, proven track record / achievement. THE ROLE

This role is responsible for executing Lalru Plant S&OP Process as per global practices and aligning the plant business target and achieving the Department KPI, creating a collaborative approach with inter department and cross function approval to executing the organization objective and business targets.  In addition, this role would have to liaise with Multi-discipline team including support functions, to delight our Internal and External stakeholders.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below.

The responsibilities of the role are implementing the required action plan, manage involve controlling, organizing, and monitoring production operations to meet targets, implementing corrective actions, and developing recovery plans for delays activities to support efforts to achieve the productivity plan.

 

The S&OP Manager’s specific responsibilities will fall into three primary areas:

 

Maximum 3 pointers per accountability

Accountability #1: Customer (Internal / External Stakeholders)

  • To lead and execute the S&OP Process to align the Demand and Supply planning to meet the Sales ,Operation , Finance Objectives with better co-ordination of  supply and production plans.
  • Ensure the customer forecast and demand signals into total planning process and create a Revenue and Operation plan visibility to stakeholder.
  • Play as a VOC (voice of customer) role and managing customer supportability with alignment of operation targets and objectives.
  • Create and ensure the Dock-to-dock alignment to meet the customer demand

 

 

Accountability #2: Process / Performance

  • Lead the plant level S&OP process and represent the plant capability and constraints.
  • Monitor and improve KPIs such as forecast accuracy, plan adherence, inventory turns, and service levels.
  • Identify the potential risk of supply and escalate the constraints to next level to reduce the risk through mitigation and contingency plan. 

 

Accountability #3: People

  • Mange a team of Production/demand planners, analyst  & Production chasers, to effectively drive the production process in plant.
  • Build planning discipline through structured planning calendars, input cut-offs, and accountability mechanisms.
  • Lead and facilitate discussions with Manger to enable informed decision-making and issue resolution.

Requirements and Preferred Skills
