Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below.

  1. Install and configure computer applications. Monitor and maintain computer networks.
  2. IT infrastructure support; inclusive of network devices, server room, server systems and company phone system maintenance support as well as day-to-day IT operations and administration support.
  3. Diagnose and troubleshoot all the PC hardware and software issues in accordance with corporate policies, standards and procedures. In charge of IT asset management including procurement and inventory management, perform PC hardware maintenance arrangement and reimaging activities
  4. Responsible for supporting user-end IT requirements and maintain high user satisfaction of IT service. Provide effective service for end users.
  5. Manage data backup as part of the disaster recovery plan
  6. Responsible for maintaining the local IT infrastructure to ensure the system stability and reliability.
  7. Responsible for tracking and monitoring IT system usage; ensure that corporate IT standards and procedures are being implemented and maintained.
  8. Conduct and/or facilitate training for employees on software / hardware / new IT tools & processes
  9. Control IT expenses and ensure cost effectiveness
  10. Establish and support a positive work environment based mutual respect, honesty, team work and continuous improvement.
  11. Manage & monitor Servers, Networking and Security infra.
  12. Troubleshoot basic networking and server issues.
  13. Coordinates problem analysis of server software and hardware problems, finding the resolution of server and storage related software problems, participates in software and hardware evaluation.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • The incumbent operates as an Individual contributor & reports to Manager – Information Technology (Infrastructure) and support him in all day to day operations to achieve the business objectives of the company.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • QUALIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    1. Diploma / Bachelors in Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent
    2. Service oriented and proficient in ITIL concepts of IT service delivery
    3. Proven experience as IT Infra Support or similar role.
