Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Designs and oversees a process of payroll input: working time records, absences, pay elements
- Oversees employee records, issues instructions and guidelines to HR Administrators in case of legal / internal changes, supports them with trainings
- Responsible for maintenance of organization structure in IT systems; controls data accuracy in HR systems
- Assures calculation of payroll, in accordance with labor law, tax, social security regulations and SOX rules; prepares and releases ZUS, PIT and PFRON documentation; assures salary deductions; administers pension plans and insurance policies
- Responsible for payroll & HC related reporting, as well as labor costs & working time calculations
- Responsible for correct data input to accounting (PEK, accruals, other on request)
- Creates and/or supports Polish legal entities in creation of internal documentation (work regulations, remuneration regulations, social fund regulations, instructions, procedures and forms, incl. incl. ISO & SOX documents, as well as labor contracts).
- Ensures accuracy of pay elements in payroll system; participates in system upgrades and integration projects
- Oversees working time management, acts as internal expert in this area
- Assists in audits and engages in projects in the area of personnel administration and payroll
- Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Leads payroll team of typically 2 people
- Supervises external service providers
- Acts as a partner for local HR departments, provides subject matter guidance.
- Acts as a resource for other team members; may lead projects with limited risks and resource requirements
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
Requirements and Preferred Skills
- 5-7 years of experience
- Knowledge of labor law, tax and social security regulations.
- Good knowledge of payroll systems (TETA preferred), HR IS systems (Success Factors or alike) and MS Office.
- Advanced knowledge of English in speaking and writing.
- Experience in managing a team or leading complex projects.
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
- Customer focus, ability to build positive, professional relationships with internal and external customers.
