What to expect
We are seeking a highly driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our Automotive Aftermarket business across Africa and selected overseas territories. This role is responsible for delivering strong sales performance, maximizing revenue, and ensuring the right organizational structure is in place to achieve growth objectives. Reporting to the Senior Regional Sales Manager, you will define and execute the regional commercial and distribution strategy in collaboration with marketing, supply chain, finance, and other key functions.
The successful candidate will build long-term customer relationships, negotiate contracts within company policy, and develop strategic sales plans that deliver sustainable market share and profitability. You will monitor performance against targets, implement corrective actions when needed, and contribute to the overall business plan to strengthen our footprint in the region. This is a high-impact role requiring strong leadership, market knowledge, and a proven ability to deliver results in complex, multicultural environments
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the sales function to maximize sales, volumes, and revenues across the African continent for Automotive Aftermarket.
- Develop and maintain credibility and long-term relationships with customers to achieve strategic sales objectives.
- Define and execute commercial and distribution strategies under the guidance of the SEMEA Sales Director, in alignment with marketing, supply chain, finance, and other functions.
- Create and implement regional sales plans, including forecasts; monitor performance against budget and take corrective actions as needed.
- Contribute to the overall business plan to grow the company’s footprint in the region profitably.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing within internal policy limits.
- Gather and maintain market intelligence to secure and defend targeted market share across all assigned product categories.
- Ensure timely and full payment from customers in partnership with finance teams.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, customer meetings, and industry events.

Requirements and Preferred Skills
- 11-15 years of overall professional experience including at least 5 in the Automotive Aftermarket industry, including experience with distribution networks and working with agents.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage complex commercial agreements.
- Comfortable working in multicultural environments and representing the company externally.
- Strong understanding of finance, logistics, and marketing principles.
- Degree in Business and/or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Fluent in English (written and oral) and at least one local language, preferably French and/or Arabic.
- Home-office based with willingness to travel 60–70% across Africa, including evenings and weekends for customer meetings and trade shows.
