Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As part of a full-time permanent contract, you will be hired as a Warehouse Clerk/Receptionist at the Gates site in Nevers, where you will play a crucial role in managing the raw materials warehouse as well as the reception and shipment of goods.
With nearly 30 years of existence, our Nevers site specializes in the production of belts (rubber industry). The majority of our output serves the automotive aftermarket, industrial, and agricultural sectors.
Key Responsibilities (in addition to the above):
- Physically and digitally receive raw materials (fabric, compound, etc.) and consumables
- Supply the various production units with raw materials, components, tools, or products (including labels)
- Store goods and distribute the products manufactured at the Nevers site to Gates Distribution Centers
- Pick items accurately according to reference and quantity
- Palletize customer orders in line with their specifications
- Perform inventory counts
- Record all operations in the SAP system
- Manage incoming truck deliveries, prioritize shipments and deliveries, and perform loading/unloading when necessary using the appropriate forklift (CACES types 3 and 5)
Requirements and Preferred Skills
Profile & Qualifications:
- BEP or BAC diploma in Logistics, Transportation, or Warehouse Operations
- Proven experience in an industrial environment
- Strong computer skills are essential, particularly with warehouse and inventory management tools such as SAP
- Analytical mindset focused on problem-solving
- Valid forklift certifications (CACES types 3 and 5)
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to work closely with production operators
- Depending on the candidate’s profile, the company is willing to provide the necessary training for the role.
