Position Summary

The Controller is responsible for establish and follow accounting policies, providing accurate and timely financial information required by Top Management to make the decisions, controlling expenses and detect financial opportunities to improve the Plant financial performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage financials for Start Up Manufacturing Operations environment.
- Preparing and Reviewing Budgets, Forecast and Bridges
- Determining and reviewing standard cost
- Controlling spending to avoid variances.
- Promoting the identification and implementation of saving projects
- Improve and Control working capital.
- Ensuring the compliance of all tax and legal regulations.
- Ensuring the SOX compliance
- Reviewing that all reconciliations are prepared timely, and all transactions are accurately and completely booked.
- Preparing and providing Management reports (GGP, Flash Model, Variance analysis, etc.)
- Providing financial information to internal and external auditors.
- Other tasks or duties as assigned.
- Performs high-level full-cycle accounting functions, prepare financial and statistical reports, and perform reconciliations
- Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services
- Impacts the achievement of operational, project, or service objectives; work is guided by department objectives.

Requirements and Preferred Skills
- 8-10 years of experience
- Accountability degree
- Strong accounting knowledge with experience in all areas of general accounting
- Strong knowledge in Std Cost determination
- Knowledge in Tax and Labor Mexican Law
- Experience with SOX auditing processes
- Fluent English Language
- Teamwork and good communication
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Leadership
- Good computer skills with the ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly.
- Strong team player: proactively able to support other team members as needed and share knowledge to allow cross training of all key functions; builds collaborative relationships.
- Prior experience with ERP systems
- Oracle GL and Costing Module
