What To Expect
As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded, and well-rounded Logistics, Purchasing & Inventory Supervisor to join our team. Working full-time from our site in Pfungstadt, you will take responsibility for supervising and controlling all logistics and purchasing processes. You will optimize existing workflows, ensure efficiency across operations, and manage the inventory levels of finished goods to secure smooth production and customer delivery performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead and develop our logistics and purchasing teams
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials and consumables in the right quantity and quality
- Select, monitor, and report on supplier performance
- Optimize warehouse operations and internal/external material flows (incl. KPI reporting)
- Drive cost reduction and inventory optimization in line with corporate goals
- Support new product release processes as well as budget and forecast activities
- Collaborate with QM and HSE on specifications and standards
- Promote effective ERP usage and ensure training & cross-training within the team
You will play a key role in securing smooth operations, cost efficiency, and high service levels, while continuously improving processes and contributing to our company’s success.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- 3+ direct reports
- Has formal supervisory responsibilities; sets priorities for and coaches associates to meet deadlines
- Has performance management and people development responsibility for associates under their care
Requirements and Preferred Skills
- Completed commercial education
- 5+ years of experience
- Proven leadership competencies
- Solid knowledge and experience in warehouse management, logistics, and purchasing
- Familiarity with quality management systems and their practical application
- Understanding of safety regulations and ability to ensure compliance
- Fluent German (written and spoken) and good English skills
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with AX 2012 is an advantage
