Demand Planner, IFF RM/FG (Kit & JIT)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• SKU level forecasting from customer service and commercial inputs and align with MRP planning process.
• Monitoring the demand changes timely to meet the customer expectations and maintain effective communication.
• Close coordination with customer service & Commercial team to generate safety stocks that meet customer needs based on historical sales patterns, Business strategy & Market trend.
• Identify the supply shortall and gap between Supply forecast and timely consumption with procurement.
• Communicate weekly the forecast risk and opportunity, forecast variance to stakeholders  
• Create SKU level safety stock using Inventory policy with ABC/XYZ analysis.
• Closely work with sales, Commercial , Marketing , supply / production planning , Customer service team to improve the demand & supply process.

• Closely work with commercial /Customer service to improve the Forecasting accuracy.
• Creating alerts to S&OP Manager and Customer service on the potential demand shortfalls or surges that may affect the service level and revenue loss.

• Requires knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures within a particular area of expertise

• No supervisory responsibilities; accountable for own contribution

Requirements and Preferred Skills

• Minimum 3 years, proven track record in Supply chain planning in a manufacturing environment
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Material management
