Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Has advanced and specialized expertise in an analytical/technical processes, typically developed through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
- Completes assignments and facilitates the work activities of others; may coordinate work beyond own area
- Proposes improvements to processes and methods
- Has a good understanding of how related teams coordinate their efforts and resources to achieve department objectives
- Exercises judgment to identify and solve problems that arise with little or no precedent
- Impacts the effectiveness of own team and closely related teams
- Exchanges ideas and information effectively; uses tact and diplomacy when dealing with others

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Serves as team lead, may allocate work and provide guidance to team members
- Acts as a lead, coordinating the work of others but is not a supervisor
Requirements and Preferred Skills
- Hands on experience of welding process (MIG / TIG / Brazing)
- Hands on experience of measuring instruments like DVC, MM, Profile Projector, CMM / VMM, 3D scanner, Video Microscope, UTM, DFT Meter,
- GD & T Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of Problem-Solving Tools
- Command on Word / Excel / Power Point
- Good analytical and technical judgement skills, Laboratory Management, Awareness of national and international standards.
- Material testing, knowledge of statistics in laboratory.
- Problem solving method, Calibration, SPC, MSA, FMEA.
- Knowledge of Quality System requirements ISO 9001 standards.
- 3 to 4 Years experience (Welding experience will be preferred), proven track record in Quality assurance functions, Laboratory/Incoming quality management/ Material testing.
- DME / BE Mechanical.
