Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- You'll be working to develop, maintain, and administer the Belt Cost Calculator (BCC) while also developing and enhancing the BCC documentation and controls to ensure SOX compliance
- This is an exciting opportunity for you because you will also be responsible for month-end reporting and supporting
- You will be supporting sales and engineering internal groups with various reports, including item cost analysis.
Key responsibilities:
- Running and analyzing month-end accounting cost reporting including but not limited to:
- Working Order Report including DL/OH/Mtl consumption and variance reporting
- Inventory Report
- Sales Margin Report
- Slow moving and obsolete inventory
- Based on variance analysis, develop methods to measure, report and improve production efficiency and performance
- Supporting Sales/Engineering with cost inquiries for quotes and new product pricing
- Complete month-end JE's and Reconciliations for Inventory, Cost of Goods Sold, and other accounts as assigned.
- Collecting requirements necessary to calculate labor, overhead, and material standard costs
- Designing and Development of logic for the Belt Cost Calculator
- Ensuring accuracy of the Belt Cost Calculator
- Designing, Developing, and Testing reports sourced from the output of the BCC
- Ensuring the BCC is SOX compliant: password secured, source data, etc.
- Training backup to execute ME BCC reporting
- Calculating Annual Intercompany transfer pricing for sleeves and roll stock.
- Working with production to execute and review monthly and annual cycle counting
- Backing up Staff Accountant in area of AR and AP as necessary
- Other duties as required
Requirements and Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree required; minimum of 1-3+ years of related experience
- Must be extremely proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel in particular)
- Understanding of general accounting processes and principles
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Takes initiative, self-motivated
- Ability to interact with various levels of the organization
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong organizational skills are a must with an extremely high attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excited to work in the office with great teammates
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

- Full-Time
